Our practice is definitely not meant to superficially impress you. We offer comfortable surroundings, enjoy developing personal relationships with many of our patients, talk with you - not to you, and most importantly, we consistently deliver the high quality surgical results you are seeking, with minimal discomfort and an extremely quick recovery time, allowing you to return most daily activities as soon as possible. Our surgical complication rate, as evidenced in our most recent five year review, is far lower than the generally referenced rates in the U.S.

We utilize our on-site surgical suite for 98% of our procedures. In addition, the vast majority pf cases can be performed under gentle I. V. sedation with an extremely rapid recovery from anesthesia. Most patients are ready to go home in sixty to ninety minutes!

The overriding focus of our practice is your satisfaction in all facets of your experience with us. This philosophy goes far beyond the ability to technically perform a surgical procedure. The experience and judgment necessary to recommend an appropriate solution for your individual concern is critical!! New patient consultations can be scheduled M, T, W, Th, or Fri. We have extended hours on Mondays and Thursdays, allowing the convenience of seeing Dr. Hunsaker after normal work hours.

Cancellations

If you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you kindly provide us with at least 48 hours notice.  This courtesy, on your part, will make it possible to give your appointment to another patient.  

Emergencies

Our office provides on-call service for emergencies, 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week.  Call (305) 279-4700 and Dr. Hunsaker will be contacted.

Insurance

While we do not participate in any insurance plans, Medicare, or Medicaid, in appropriate cases, we can provide you with the necessary codes and information to file with your insurer for reimbursement.

Financing

While most of our patients pay for their procedures with cash, check or credit card, many choose to finance some or all of their obligation. Our staff is fully trained to quickly assist you in determining your approved financing amount from one of our many available options. Usually, an answer can be obtained within minutes of submitting the required information during your visit. Approval prior to your visit can also be obtained.

Dr. Hunsaker provides Advanced Patient Financing and CareCredit, which offer viable financing options for your particular needs.
